Mission Effectiveness: The Charism Alive in CSSJ Sponsored Works
An opportunity for lay partners in ministries sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph to come to Le Puy for pilgrimage and immersion in the original spirit of the Congregation, as well as in the global dimension of our charism.
If you are one of the many lay leaders who have assumed responsibilities for works founded by Sisters of St. Joseph this program will deepen your learning, nourish your imagination and strengthen your conviction in carrying out the mission. The week-long experience will offer a gentle rhythm of prayer, input sessions, sharing of one another’s experiences, and visits to historical sites. It is hoped that all who participate will be set on fire with the zeal needed to continue and further this mission of union in their ministries.
Joining the Centre Staff will be Dolores Clerico SSJ of the Philadelphia Congregation. Dolores has worked extensively with lay leaders on the East Coast of the U.S. assisting them in garnering from our mission tools for sustaining the mission in their work places.
This program is offered in English, the maximum number of participants 40. The program will be held at Providence Centre, Le Puy, walking distance to the old city. Accommodations at the Ibis Hotel. Total cost 700 euros includes hotel, breakfast, materials and travel to historical sites. Indicate a serious interest in participating by April 15, 2010. A reservation form will be emailed.
